Due to the evolving nature of the times and technology, our need for positive, respectful interactions with others has become more important than ever. Our dependence on the Internet, email, and smart phones means that what was once a relatively static set of etiquette rules, which could be looked up in thick and dusty old books, is now more dynamic and requires more independent judgement and adaptation.
You may be surprised to learn that it was etiquette maven Emily Post herself who said “Nothing is less important than which fork you use. Etiquette is the science of living. It embraces everything. It is ethics. It is honor.” At the Best Etiquette School, we can and do teach you which fork to use so that you will feel confident as you navigate the world. But, we also agree with five generations of the Post family that Honesty, Respect, and Kindness are the foundation of all etiquette and good manners (along with their close cousins Civility and Authenticity).
Hence, whether you are coming to the Best Etiquette School for one of our formal programs such as wedding or business etiquette, it is our mission to help you implement all the core principles underlying etiquette and good manners so you handle all of your human interactions with confidence and grace.
